From June 7 – 21, 2025, join the Evansville Museum and chief curator and curator of history Tom Lonnberg as we experience Majestic Cities of Central & Eastern Europe. This outstanding trip includes five countries and important cities and sites in Central and Eastern Europe. Highlights of the tour include Berlin, Dresden, Prague (and Prague Castle), Vienna, Budapest, Krakow, and a poignant visit to the Auschwitz concentration camp. Along the journey, travelers will experience the history, culture, and cuisine of this region.
On this small group tour, with a maximum of 24 travelers, such landmarks as the remains of the Berlin Wall, Prague’s Jewish Quarter and Old Town, Dresden’s Cathedral of our Lady, and the UNESCO world heritage site of Pannonhalma Archabbey in Hungary will be experienced. There are also opportunities to have cultural experiences such as a Viennese coffee house and participating in waltz lesson in the Austrian capital.
