Jung’s artistic journey has been heavily influenced by her experiences of moving from place to place in the U. S., leading her to develop a unique style that incorporates emotional and psychological landscapes in her portrayals of her surroundings. Her preferred mediums are paper, specifically handmade Korean mulberry paper, calligraphy ink, and Korean watercolors. By incorporating a traditional Korean painting method in her work, Jung seeks to demonstrate a cross-cultural perspective in her pieces. Her artwork is a testament to the beauty and complexity of cultural exchange and the ways in which it can shape our artistic practices.
