Dr. Cline is the former head of the Operations Analysis Department in the Engineering Division of the McDonnell Douglas Corporation (now The Boeing Company). During his career, Dr. Cline worked on several major missile and space programs, including the Viking Mission to Mars, the Galileo Mission to Jupiter, the Tomahawk Cruise Missile, and the Harpoon Antiship Missile. Dr. Cline was part of the MDC/NASA team that designed the Space Shuttle Orbiter. His responsibility on the Shuttle was the development of the mathematical modelling of the Orbiter/External Tank separation.
