The reputation Les Miley garnered as an internationally recognized artist was only rivaled by his reputation as a professor of art at the University of Evansville and The Ceramics Workshop in New Harmony. Taking the time to bond with students through one-on-one instruction or simple conversations about life cultivated environments full of creativity. The pieces on display were given to Les and his wife JoAnne by former students.
