  • Art: Look closely and learn about the artwork on display

You Be the Art Critic (All ages)

In this 45–55-minute session, participants will view and discuss selected works exhibited in the Museum galleries, give close attention to a work of their own choice, prepare an evaluation / critique of the work, and present their critique to their peers.

EMTRAC – Evansville Museum Transportation Center (All ages)

Discover the history of transportation in Evansville! Students learn about early river and rail travel and the development of street transportation and aviation in Evansville. Highlights include a model railroad vignette and the Evansville Museum train, a real beauty comprised of a 1908 steam engine, 1926 club car, and circa 1900 caboose. This 45-minute tour includes the entire Museum Transportation Center and train. Note: The train is not handicap-accessible.
