SCIENTIST TO PRESENT KOCH MEMORIAL LECTURE

The Evansville Museum has announced that Dr. Jeffrey Bennett, will present this year’s Malcolm Koch Memorial Lecture Friday, April 7 at 7:00 PM  in the Museum’s Old Gallery.

The title of Bennett’s talk will be “Beyond UFOs: The Scientific Search for Extraterrestrial Life”. The program will illustrate how scientists are currently searching life and extraterrestrial intelligence in the universe.

Dr. Bennett is a Colorado based astrophysicist and author of numerous books on science, academic textbooks and children’s literature. Following the lecture, Dr. Bennett will be available for a book signing, with several of his titles available for purchase.

The lecture is the culmination of a three-day visit to the Evansville area as the Museum’s Scientist in Residence. Dr. Bennett will be engaging with community educators and schools in an effort to connect scientists with students and teachers. The lecture is admission-free. .
