About the museum

Driving Directions


The Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science is located in downtown Evansville, Indiana on the banks of the Ohio River. We are located at the corner of Cherry Street and Southeast Riverside Drive (Veterans Memorial Parkway becomes Riverside Drive one block from the Museum.)

From the South: Take U.S. 41 across the Ohio River to Veterans Memorial Parkway Exit.  Drive around a very long ramp and proceed West on the Parkway. The Museum is located at the third light.

From the North: Take I-164 south to where it passes over U.S. 41. The Interstate Bypass becomes Veterans Memorial Parkway. The Museum is located at the third light West on the Parkway.

From the Llyod Expressway and the East (aka 66 West): Traveling Westbound, proceed West past U.S. 41 at which point the expressway becomes SR 62 West. Proceed past downtown. Make a left turn at the light at Fulton Avenue. Fulton becomes Riverside Drive one block later. Travel past the Casino Aztar and the downtown esplanade. The Museum entrance is just past the Pagoda, on the right.

From Illinois: Take Indiana 62 to South Fulton Avenue. Turn right on South Fulton Avenue. Fulton becomes Riverside Drive one block later. Travel past the Casino Aztar and the downtown esplanade. The Museum entrance is just past the Pagoda, on the right.
